SONORA

William Morgan died at his home in Chester township of typhoid fever, on Wed., Dec. 6, aged 39 years, 1 month and 6 days. The funeral services were held in the M.E. church, conducted by Rev. D. Phillips, and interment in the Chester cemetery. William Boone Morgan was born in Poweshiek county in 1860, and here he resided all his life. He located at Sonora a few years ago as a blacksmith and in this work he was constantly busy. He leaves a widow and six young children to mourn his early death, his wife also lying ill with the fever at the time of his death. He was a member of the M.E. church and was an upright man and neighbor. His neighbors and friends sympathize with the bereaved and afflicted family at this time, and they will be cared for and provided for according to their needs.
