FINLEY CLINDININ

Finley Clindinin was born at Brighton, Ontario, January 4th, 1848, and died after a long and serious illness, November 9th, 1918, aged 70 years, 10 months and 5 days.

April 15th, 1875, he was united in marriage to Angelina Frances Green whose death occurred at Grinnell in *1916.

To this union four sons were born: Russell James, Frank and Walter, of Grinnell and Charles of Rock Island. Also he is survived by one brother who resides at Brighton, Ontario.

Fin Clindinin was a great reader and was interested in all progressive and political movements. Everybody who knew him liked him and his friends were many.

Thus another old settler who spent the larger portion of his life in Grinnell has faced the reality of the other world, from whose bourne no traveler returns.
