MRS. MITCHELL RITES ARE HELD

Jessie V. Mitchell, 80, died at the New Sharon Care Center on Nov. 12.

Funeral services for Mrs. Mitchell were held Saturday, Nov. 15, at the Harden Funeral Home in New Sharon, with the Rev. Irene Weitert officiating.

Burial was in the Friends Cemetery in Lynnville.

Born May 28, 1900, in Searsboro, she was the daughter of Edward *E. and Inez James Evans. She married Raymond Mitchell in Oskaloosa in 1921.

She was a member of the Searsboro Friends Church.

She is survived by her husband, Raymond, of New Sharon; a son, Edson A. Mitchell of St. Louis, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Rob (Bessie) Brignon of New Sharon; and two brothers, Ralph Evans of Lynnville and Rex Evans of Des Moines.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
