FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. CHESTER CARTER

Funeral services for Mrs. Chester Carter of 1053 Coolidge Ave., Wichita, Kan. were held at Downing mortuary Saturday with interment at White Chapel Memorial Gardens in Wichita. Mrs. Carter's death occurred Feb. 1, from a heart ailment. She was born August 27, 1885 in Kingman county, Kan. and was a life long member of the Methodist church in Nashville, Kan.

She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Verna Shauffer, at home; Mrs. Alta Laebel of Nashville, Kan. and Mrs. Darlene Miller of Manhatten, Kan.; two sisters, Mrs. Vera Kennedy of Wichita, Kan. and Mrs. Aaron Burkholder of Oklahoma City, Okla. and a number of grandchildren.

Mr. and Mrs. Carter have visited in Brooklyn on numerous occasions in the H.E. Carter home and have many friends in this community.
