OBITUARY
MRS. F.E. WELLS
Irena May Bomberger, was born near Polo, Illinois, January 9, 1874, and died at 7 o'clock on Sunday morning, October 4, aged 40 years, 8 months and 25 days.
She came with her parents while quite young to Ogden, Iowa, and from there to Gowrie, Iowa, where she grew to young womanhood. On December 21, 1892, she was united in marriage to Fred E. Wells. To this union came four children, three of whom are living: Gawain L., Brenden G. and Ruth G. Wells. Besides her husband and children she leaves two brothers and two sisters and a host of friends to mourn her sudden death. She united with the Christian church in early girlhood at Gowrie and later became a member of the same church here, and remained a consistent member and worker in that church until death took her.
