BURIAL OF MRS. EMMA BIGELOW

The remains of Mrs. Emma Bigelow were interred at Hazelwood yesterday afternoon, having been brought from Indian Territory to be buried beside the bodies of her husband and son. Mrs. Bigelow was a little over seventy years old and died September 16 of malarial fever. She was one of the early settlers in this county and lived for many years in Chester township where she was universally respected and admired. The deceased was a cousin of Mrs. F.P. Marvin of this city, to whose home the remains were taken before interment.

Those from out of town who were present at the simple services conducted at the grave by the Rev. E.M. Vittum were Mrs. M.E. Stonestreet of Marshalltown, a daughter of the deceased, Mrs. J.E. Sheehey, another daughter of the deceased, and her husband of Marshalltown, and Mrs. Ida Bigelow, a daughter-in-law of the deceased.

The pall bearers were M.W. Swisher, John Flook, J.E. Neely, Wm. Meanor, G.H. Brown, and G.E. James.
