BELLE JACOBS DIES AT 96

Belle Black Jacobs, 96, formerly of Grinnell, died Thursday evening, Dec. 18, in San Bernardino, Calif.

Her body was cremated, and graveside services will be held in Grinnell in the spring.

She was the widow of H.P. Jacobs, a former Grinnell mail clerk, and had lived in California for 35 years.

Survivors include a son, Foster Jacobs of Rialto, Calif., two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her husband preceded her in death in *1949.

Should friends desire, memorials in Mrs. Jacobs' name may be made to the American Heart Association.
