Fredrick Terraberry was born in Morris county, N.J., June 14, 1810, and died June 12, 1902, just completing his 92 year. He was married February 20, 1834, to Elizabeth Lindaberry, who preceded him to the better world September 25, 1879. Eleven children were born to them, six sons and five daughters, eight of whom survive him. Three sisters also survive him.

He united with the German Reform church in the east in his youth, and on coming west and locating in Beaurean county, Ill., in the spring of 1867 he joined the Presbyterian church of which he was a consistent member at his death. All who knew him honor him.

He came to Iowa in 1879 and resided on a farm near Malcom till September 1, 1891, when he came to Grinnell and made is home with his daughter, Mrs. R.T. Templeton, until his death. His remains were taken to Princeton, Ill., and laid to rest by the side of his wife.

During his long sickness friends were exceedingly appreciative. The funeral services were conducted by Prof. Parker at his late residence on Sunday afternoon.
