PRICE SHAW RITES CONDUCTED MONDAY

Funeral services were held Monday at the Malcom Methodist church for Price L. Shaw, 76, who died Friday afternoon at Montezuma following an extended illness.

Officiating at the services was the Rev. James T. Robinson. Vocal music was provided by Mrs. Marilyn Stahl, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Nellie Farley. Serving on the flower committee were Mr. and Mrs. John Puls Jr. and Mr. and Mrs. Lyman McDowell.

Pallbearers were Edward Cook, Virgil McCammant, Lester Smith, Richard Kies, Wavern McDowell and Earl Story Jr. Interment was in Ivy Hill cemetery.

The son of Press and Minnie Lamb Shaw, he was born Aug. 19, 1887, at Broken Bow, Neb. He spent his earlier life at What Cheer and on Dec. 17, 1932, was married to Sylvia Dykes at Princeton, Mo. They had resided in the Malcom community since their marriage.

Survivors include his four children: Mrs Wayne (Mertie) Kinnaird of Brooklyn, Mrs. James (Sybil) Puls of Malcom, Bill and Preston Shaw of Malcom; six grandchildren; one brother, Clifford Shaw of Malcom; and one sister, Mrs. Leroy Sanders of Montezuma.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia, Jan. 4, 1964; his parents, two sisters, Sybil Irene and Della Myers.
