MRS. ALMEEDA CRAIG

Mrs. Almeeda Craig was born in Ohio in 1820. She married John Craig, who with their seven children preceded her to the better land, her husband dying about twenty years ago. There remain of her father's family two brothers, Nelson Brown, of this city, and Hiram Brown of California, two sisters, Adeline Hall of St. Charles, Ill., and Mrs. O.W. Black of this place. Besides these, one grandchild Clarence Doane, of Richland township, survives her.

About twenty-five years ago she joined the M.E church and has lived a consistent christian life since. For the last six years she has made her home with her sister, Mrs. O.W. Black. After an illness of five weeks she passed away last Friday morning at the age of 88 years and 5 months.

Short services were conducted from the house at 9 o'clock Saturday morning by the Rev. J.M. McClelland and later at Bethel church in which she still held her church membership, by the the Rev. Mr. Adams of Lynnville.

CARD OF THANKS

We wish to extend our thanks to our neighbors and friends who were so kind to us during the illness and afterwards, of our sister, Mrs. A.P. Craig.
O.W. BLACK AND WIFE.
