JOHN CESSNA SERVICES SET

John Thomas Cessna Jr., 84, of Rte. 2, Wautoma, Wis., died Saturday morning at Wautoma Memorial Community Hospital.

Funeral services were held at 4 p.m. Sunday at the Ayars Funeral Home in Wautoma. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hazelwood Cemetery here, with the Rev. James Russell, pastor of the Grinnell United Methodist Church, officiating. Friends may call the Smith Funeral Home for additional information.

The son of John and Elsie Brown Cessna, he was born June 3, 1893, in Grinnell. He operated an insurance business here and a pharmaceutical company in Milwauee, Wis., prior to moving to Wautoma.

He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Henry (Gladys) Hewitt of Ames, Mrs. Blythe C. Vance, also of Ames, and Mrs. Mildred C. Stoddard of Monticello, Ill. He was preceded in death by his wife, Goldia, in 1974.
