EVELYN SIMPSON

Evelyn Bell Simpson, 69, of Montezuma, formerly of Newburg, died Sunday, July 12, at the Senior Home in Montezuma.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday morning at the Watts Funeral Home in Montezuma, with burial in that community.

She was born in February 1923 south of Grinnell and grew up in Newburg.

Mrs. Simpson is survived by four sons, Charles, Melvin, Roger and Daniel; three sisters, Eva Jones and Minnie Green, both of Grinnell, and Arlene Rutherford of Newton; and one brother, Clarence Bell of Tipton.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lloyd; and six brothers and sisters.
