The Brooklyn (IA) Chronicle; Sept. 25, 1896

Mrs. Tabitha Spake-Pimlot was born in Wayne county, Ohio, Aug. 2, 1823, and was married to Clark Pimlott in 1845, in Medina county, Ohio, and three years later moved to Bureau county, Ill., and from there to Malcom, Iowa, in 1875 where she has since resided until the time of her death, Sept. 8th, 1896. Her husband's death preceded her 16 years. She leaves three children to mourn her loss--two sons and one daughter. One son having died in Dakota 7 years ago. She joined the church of Christ with her husband shortly after their marriage and had lived a true Christian life up to the time of her death. She had been ailing for ?? years and the (last/past?) few years she was not able to get about.--Malcom Leader.
