DOLLY M. WILSON

Dolly M. Wilson, 83, of Grinnell died of a respiratory ailment Saturday, Jan. 15, at Friendship Manor.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday at the Smith Funeral Home, with Dave Shearer of the Church of Christ in Marshalltown officiating. Music was provided by Pauline Ell, Becky Fatzinger, Tiffany Steele and Maxine Van Hoever.

Casket bearers were Joey, Mike and Steve Haugsted; Joel and Nick Smith; and Rick and Rod See. Burial was in Hazelwood Cemetery.

She was born Jan. 11, 1917, in Grinnell to Fred and Bessie Tennant Harper. She was raised in Grinnell and attended school here.

She was married to Lawrence W. Wilson March 21, 1953, in Peoria, Ill. They lived in Grinnell and Cedar Rapids. Mrs. Wilson worked for the Grinnell Shoe Company and as a sales clerk for the former North Market.

She was a member of the Sixth Avenue Church of Christ.

Surviving are two daughters, Vivian L. See and Kathleen M. Innis, both of Grinnell; two sons, Bill of Grinnell and Dick of Benton, Ark.; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and three brothers, William and Jasper Belcher, both of Grinnell, and Clayton Belcher of Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; one grandson; seven sisters, Florence Symington, Pearl See, Emma Thompson, Ruth McDuffy, Ferne Lloyd, Lillian Belcher and Ann Margaret Belcher; and three brothers, Forest, Alfred and Alvie Belcher.
