DEATH OF MRS. THOMAS SMITH
Miss Liddie Ann Nicholas was born October 15, 1848 and died December 9, 1915, aged 68 years, 1 month and 24 days. She was married to Thomas Smith August 2, 1867, in Mount Morris, Ill. They came to Brooklyn, Ia., and have made this their home until their death. Her beloved husband passed away one week and three days before her death.
They leave to mourn their loss four daughters and one son: Mrs. John Keeler, Mrs. William Hartgraves, Mrs. Frank Worrel all of Fort Dodge, Mrs. Will Corbett of Marengo and Samuel Smith of Brooklyn.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, conducted by Rev. S.E. Koons. Interment was made in I.O.O.F. cemetery.
NOTE: Her husband's obituary gives her maiden name as NICHOLS
