VICTOR FARMER DIES WHEN ABOUT TO BOARD A TRAIN

Stricken suddenly while partaking of lunch at the Union depot in Pueblo, Colo., Wednesday noon, Mern C. Lepley, 29, prominent farmer of Victor, Ia., survived but a day, succumbing at a hospital there. Physicians pronounced his ailment as an acute attack of uremic poisoning.

Lepley had been in failing health for two years and in hope of regaining health had spent the last eight weeks at Waunita Springs, in the southwestern part of the state. Not feeling benefited by his sojourn at the Springs, he had started to return to his home in Victor, Ia. It was while stopping off for lunch here that the young farmer was stricken with a fatal attack.
