GRACE KINNAIRD SERVICES HELD

Grace Kinnaird, 68, a resident of the Kellogg area for 30 years, died Thursday, April 3, at Skiff Memorial Hospital in Newton.

Funeral services were conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home in Newton, with the Rev. William E. Sexton of the Newton First Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial was at Prairie View Cemetery, Gilman.

The daughter of Joe H. and Sylvia D. Hink Berry, she was born April 30, 1911, in Grinnell. She was a graduate of Brooklyn High School. On Dec. 16, 1945, she was married to Jack Kinnaird in Newton. She had taught in schools in Poweshiek and Jasper counties.

Survivors include her husband; her mother, Mrs. Sylvia Berry of Brooklyn; three brothers, Clyde of Lorimor, Lyle of Montezuma and Joe of Beeville, Tex.; and a sister, Dorothy Van Ersvelde of Brooklyn.

She was preceded in death by her father.
