MRS. HANNAH C. BOLTON
Mrs. Hannah Bolton was born in Staffordshire, England, Aug. 1, 1841 and died March 24, 1907 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. S.A. Devinney southwest of town.
She was married about 1861 to Charles Bolton and with their two children they moved to this country in 1865 and located in Cleveland, Ill. and thence moved to Rapid City and Gilchrist, Ill., where they resided for about fifteen years. Her husband dying in 1902, Mrs. Bolton has since made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Devinney. One other child, Mart Bolton, of Gilchrist, Ill., survives her together with many friends and neighbors who sincerely mourn the loss of a good woman.
Though not a professing Christian she was a thoughtful and devoted mother and had faith in the Eternal Verities. She was often heard in communion with her Savior in whom she had faith and trust.
Funeral services were held at the home Monday afternoon at three o'clock conducted by the Rev. J.M. McClelland and the body taken to Gilchrist for burial.
