MRS. JULIA CADY

Julia North was born in Genesee County, New York, December 10, 1832. In 1851 she was united in marriage to Thomas Cady. To this union were born four children, Henrietta, Allison B., Myra A., and Fannie D. In the spring of 1886 the family came to Iowa, and settled on a farm north of Brooklyn. After a few years they moved to Malcom which was their home until the spring of 1914, when Mr. Cady died. Since that time she has made her home with her daughter, Mrs. T.P. Wineman of this city. She passed away January 3, 1921, aged 88 years and 24 days. She is survived by one son, Allison B. Cady of this city, and two daughters, Mrs. Myra Wineman of Grinnell and Mrs. Fannie Heltzel, of Pomona, California. She united with the Presbyterian church at Malcom in 1875, and remained a faithful member until her death. Interment was in Ivy Hill cemetery at Malcom by the side of her husband who preceded her in death seven years.
