LINCOLN TOWNSHIP PIONEER DIES

Herman J. Wokosin was born in Lincoln township, Poweshiek county, Iowa, December 16, 1864.

He died at the home of Mrs. Max Burke, his daughter, on Thursday, July 12, 1928, aged 63 years, 6 months and 26 days.

Surviving him are three sons, Herman, Henry and Lewis, and three daughters, Minnie, Mrs. Martin Schultz; Marie, Mrs. Max Burke; Martha, Mrs. Jess Sanger; also one brother, John Wokosin of Guernsey; Mary, Mrs. Kemph of Manning, Ia., also 11 grandhchildren.

Funeral services were held at St. John's Evangelical church, Saturday, July 14th, conducted by his pastor, Rev. Wm. Bartz of Victor.--Montezuma Republican.
