MRS. LEROY BEASON DIES MONDAY AT 68; SERVICES FRIDAY

Mrs. Margaret Marie Beason, wife of Leroy D. Beason of 625 Park street, passed away at 7 o'clock Monday evening after a brief illness, aged 68 years. She was a lifetime resident of Grinnell.

Funeral services will be held at the Methodist church at 2 p.m. Friday in charge of Rev. John DeLong. Burial will be in Hazelwood cemetery.

Mrs. Beason, known as Maggie to all her friends, was born Feb. 2, 1886, the daughter of William and Sarah See Keenan, both deceased.

On Feb. 7, 1907, she was united in marriage with Mr. Beason who survives. To them were born eight children, Lona May, Mrs. E.E. Darland of Evanston, Ill., Beatrice, Mrs. Victor Vulysteke of Grinnell, Ernest R. Beason of Grinnell, Florence, Mrs. Marion Gibson of Grinnell, Lester Beason of Pomona, Calif., Hazel, Mrs. Daniel Walker of Sully, Emory A. Beason of Pomona, Calif., and Edward Beason, deceased.

There are also two sisters, Mrs. Rose Robison and Mrs. Hazel Fetzer, both of Grinnell, and two brothers, Francis Keenan of Grinnell and William Keenan of Los Angeles, Calif.

Mrs. Beason was a member of the Methodist church and the Rebekah lodge.
