FORMER RESIDENT DIES IN CALIFORNIA

Private graveside services were held at El Toro, Calif., Dec. 22 for Maurice Leo Keenan, 59, of San Clemente, Calif., and formerly of Grinnell, who died in Mission Viejo, Calif., on Sunday, Dec. 19.

Father Karp of Our Lady of Fatima Church officiated at the services. Burial was in El Toro.

Recitation of the rosary was held Dec. 21 in St. Elizabeth's Catholic Church in Pasadena.

Mr. Keenan is survived by his wife, the former Jean Mahan of Guthrie Center; two daughters--Krisen, administrator of Inter-Community Hospital at West Covina, Calif., and Suzanne, who is with the Japan Air Lines in Los Angeles; a sister, Mrs. Clarence (Louise) Dusterhoft of Victor, and a brother, William Keenan of San Clemente, Calif.

Mr. Keenan was preceded in death by his parents and a brother James.

His sister, Mrs. Dusterhoft, flew to California for the services.
