FORMER RESIDENT SAM DEVINNEY, 92 DIES IN ILLINOIS

A former Grinnell resident, Sam Devinney, 92, died Wednesday at a rest home in Rock Island, Ill., where he had resided for the past several months.

Graveside services will be held at 11 o'clock Saturday morning at Hazelwood cemetery.

Mr. Devinney was a longtime resident of Grinnell and left here for Rock Island early this year. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. lodge.
