PEARL TODD SERVICES SET

Pearl Dell Todd, 84, of Grinnell, the widow of Cyrus F. Todd, died Monday evening at St. Francis Manor.

Funeral services for Mrs. Todd will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Eugene L. McClure officiating. Burial will be at Hazelwood Cemetery, and friends may call the Smith Funeral Home for additional information.

The daughter of Orlando and Isabelle Breese VanBogart, she was born June 7, 1891, in Grinnell. She attended the Grinnell public schools.

On Oct. 6, 1917, she was married to Cyrus Floyd Todd in Marshalltown. Following their marriage, Mr. and Mrs. Todd lived in Grinnell. In 1931 they moved to Newton, returning to Grinnell in 1939. Mr. Todd died Oct. 12, 1948.

Mrs. Todd is survived by two children, Eugene B. Todd of Sparks, Nev., and Mrs. Gerald (Janice) Wang of Rte. 1, Malcom; 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; a son, Max Wayne Todd who died in 1968; one sister, Mrs. William (Maude) Jones; and four brothers, Alonzo "Lony" VanBogart, Frank VanBogart, Louie VanBogart and Harry VanBogart.
