WAYNE OSBORN

Wayne S. Osborn, 74, of Hemet, Calif., a native of Grinnell, died Sunday, March 19, at Hemet Valley Medical Center.

Funeral services were conducted Monday at McWane Family Funeral Home in Hemet, with the Rev. Claude Parkhill officiating. Burial was in Riverside National Cemetery, Riverside, Calif.

Born Oct. 13, 1920, in Grinnell, he was the son of William J. and Elizabeth McDowell Osborn. He was a 1939 graduate of Grinnell High School.

Mr. Osborn was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II. He was employed as an accountant for 39 years, most recently by Delavan Mfg. Co. in West Des Moines. He had lived in Hemet for the past nine years.

Surviving are his wife, Lucille, of Hemet; one son, James of Denver, Colo.; one daughter, Ann Jordan, also of Denver; two grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert of Grinnell and Keith of Montezuma.
