OMER F. SCHULTZ SERVICES FRIDAY

Omer F. Schultz of Rt. 1, Malcom, a longtime resident of the Grinnell Community, died Wednesday at a Grinenll hospital.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Grinnell with the pastor of the church, the Rev. Fred Peters, conducting services.

Burial will be in Ivy Hill Cemetery in Malcom.

James-Schalinske Funeral Home in Grinnell is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Schultz is survived by his wife and three children, Carole, Ellen and Dale, all at home; a sister, Mrs. Wayne Reams of Grinnell and two brothers, Raymond of Grinnell and Wilbur of Tama.

He was preceded in death by a son in infancy, his parents and a brother, Clifton.

Mr. Schultz, a farmer in the area for most of his life, was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church, the Elks, Eagles and Farm Bureau.

The son of Otto and Sophia Luttman Schultz, he was born Dec. 6, 1899 in Sheridan Township.

He was married to Theresa Puls Nov. 26, 1936.

He attended rural schools and was graduated from Grinnell High School.

NOTE: Trinity Lutheran Church is in rural Poweshiek Co. near Malcom (not in Grinnell.)
