MRS. NICHOLAS WILTAMUTH DIES

Word was received Sunday of the death of Mrs. Nicholas Wiltamuth at Seattle, Washington, where she has been spending the past few months at the home of her son, Captain Wiltamuth who is an instructor at the University of Washington.

Mrs. Wiltamuth lived in Grinnell until 1922. She was a member of the Episcopal church but attended the Congregational church while here.

Mrs. Millie E. Wiltamuth was born in Rock Island county, Illinois, May 15, 1854. Her father was Rev. John Hartzell, a Methodist minister. She was married at Grinnell, April 22, 1874 to Nicholas Wiltamuth. She died at the home of her son, November 22.

Mrs. Wiltamuth is survived by four children, Mr. Roy Wiltamuth of Saratoga Springs, Wyoming, Mrs. Adah Fehlman of Moline, Mrs. Blanche S. Orcutt of Des Moines and Captain Ralph Wiltamuth of the University of Washington.

The funeral was held this afternoon at the Congregational church with Prof. J.D. Stoops in charge of the services.
