Montezuma Democrat (Montezuma, Iowa) Aug. 7, 1900

Mrs. Eliza Neville was born in Chester county, Pa., Jan. 6, 1813, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Dunlap, Aug. 1, 1900, after a long illness. The funeral was preached in the Christian church by Rev. A.J. Good of Ewart, after which the remains were laid to rest in the Forest Home cemetery. She was loved and respected by a large circle of friends.

DIED:--Mrs. Elizabeth Neville was born in Chester county, Pennsylvania, Jan. 15, 1813, died Aug. 1, 1900, aged 87 years, 6 months and 26 days. She was a member of the M.E. church since she was 16 years old. She was a woman of remarkable energy and life. She came to Iowa about twenty years ago and has lived with her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Dunlap, near Forest Home until her death. The funeral was conducted by Rev. A.J. Good and was largely attended.
