RITES TUESDAY FOR PIERSON HALL, 45

Pierson Hall, 45-year-old Brooklyn farmer, died of a heart attack Saturday night enroute to the Marengo hospital. He apparently had been in good health and had worked Saturday combining oats. He was stricken while watching television at his home about ten o'clock.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon at two o'clock at First United Presbyterian church in charge of the Rev. G.H. Hulsebus. Organist was Mrs. Ed Bartachek.

Interment was in I.O.O.F. cemetery with Forrest Breniman, Lawrence Vercande, Eldon Miller, Everett Seye, Kenneth Rhinehart and Clarence Rhinehart serving as pallbearers. In charge of flowers were Mr. and Mrs. Chester Hess, Mrs. Forrest Breniman and Mrs. Eldon Miller.

The son of Clyde and Robyn Hall, Pierson Hall was born on a farm near Brooklyn Dec. 30, 1914, and died July 23, 1960. He received his education in a rural school and Hartwick Consolidated school, graduating in the class of 1934.

He had farmed his entire life near Brooklyn and had been an active member of the Farm Bureau a number of years.

He was married Dec. 22, 1936, to Lottie Iezek, and two children were born to the couple, David, 18, and Linda, 13, both living at home.

He is survived by his widow; two children and his parents all of Brooklyn.
