HELEN FULLER DIES; SERVICES FRIDAY

Helen L. Fuller, 49, the wife of James W. Fuller of Rte. 2, Gilman, died Tuesday morning, Feb. 10 at the Grinnell General Hospital West.

The daughter of John W. and Corissa Milligan McIlrath, Mrs. Fuller was born on Oct. 6, 1920, north of Kellogg and attended the Newburg and Laurel schools. She graduated in 1938 from the Laurel high school.

On June 29, 1939, she was married to James Wesley Fuller at Marshalltown. Since their marriage they have farmed in the Newburg, Chester and Gilman communities.

Mrs. Fuller attended the Assembly of God Church of Grinnell and was a member of the Green Grove Club of Gilman.

Survivors include her husband, James W. Fuller; three daughters--Mrs. Janice Rae Hummel of Newton, Mrs. Gary (Sheryl Jane) Nott of St. Louis, Mo., and Kay Diane, at the family home; three grandchildren--Jeffrey Scott Schmidt, Jilene Renae Hummel and Tobin Gary Nott; a sister, Mrs. Donald (Alberta) King of Grinnell; a brother, Raymond McIlrath of Grinnell; her father and stepmother, Mr. and Mrs. John McIlrath of Grinnell; and two stepsisters--Mrs. Clayton (Bonnie) Tew of Grinnell and Mrs. Earl (Doris) Steward of Marshalltown.

Mrs. Fuller was preceded in death by her mother in 1946 and a brother, J. Kenneth McIlrath in 1968.

Donations in Mrs. Fuller's memory may be sent to the American Cancer Society.

Funeral services for Mrs. Fuller will be Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church with the Rev. Sam Reaves and the Rev. Max Johnson officiating.

Interment will be in the Prairie View Cemetery at Gilman.

Vocalists will be Mr. and Mrs. Emil Gerard, and organist will be Mrs. Sam Reaves. Serving on the flower committee will be Mrs. Ruth Wehrman and Mrs. Ethel Barnes.

Pallbearers are Harvey Fuller, Orville Fuller, Wilbur Jack, Wendell Claybrook, Owen Barr and Chester Barr.

Friends may call at the James-Schalinske Funeral Home.
