MRS. MARTHA MARMON
On Friday, Stephen Goss was buried from his home at 1029 Pearl street, and about midnight Sunday Mrs. Martha Marmon, his faithful housekeeper, died in the same house. Her death was due to stomach trouble, from which she was a long sufferer. She had planned to go the home of her sister immediately following Mr. Goss' death.
The remains were taken last night to Lake City, her old home, for interment, by her daughter, Mrs. A.F. Chandler of Lake City, who was with her when the end came. Her son, Paul Mitchell, who made his home with her and to whom she was always a good and loving mother, survives her. She had the thorough respect and love of all her neighbors and leaves behind her the sweet memory of a generous heart, a hard worker of high capability and a kind disposition.
