JOHN ALLEN DIES

John Allen, 18-year-old son of Mr. an Mrs. Al Allen, residing south of Searsboro, died Monday night of influenza following a very brief illness. He was taken suddenly ill and expired within a few hours He had been sick for about a week but was considered well on the way to recovery when death came.
