BILLY KAMAKONA DEAD

"Billy," the Hawaiian musician who visited with H.S. McCowan's family a few weeks ago, died at Utica, N.Y., October 31.

The young people here who entertained Billy almost every day while he was in Grinnell will hear of his death with great sorrow. He was a happy lad was Billy, who made the world sing and laugh, and scattered sunshine along life's way. He was a stranger among strange people but he was a gentleman whom you loved on sight.

"Billy's" remains will be buried in Grinnell cemetery, because he called this his American home.
