FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. ELLA ARNOLD

Funeral services for Mrs. Ella Arnold, 85, were conducted at the Methodist Church in Guernsey Sunday, Oct. 26, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. N. Grote officiating. Mrs. Mary Pidima, pianist, accompanied Mrs. Hilda Prashak and Mrs. Cecil McMaines, vocalists.

Interment was at the Moravian cemetery with the following pallbearers: John Morton, Elmer Johnson, Vern Murphy, George Mullen, William Schlesselman and Charles Mullen. Mr. and Mrs. Leeman McWilliams and Mrs. Leona Johnson were in charge of the flowers.

Ella Eisher, daughter of Christian and Mary Eisher as born on a farm west of Guernsey Oct. 6, 1873. After her marriage to Hiram Arnold of Guernsey July 31, 1901, the couple went to Guthrie, Okla. in a covered wagon, living there for one year. They returned to Guernsey where Mrs. Arnold lived for the remainder of her life. The couple became the parents of three children. Mrs. Arnold attended the Moravian church.

Since the death of her husband in 1953, Mrs. Arnold has made her home with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Waline of Guernsey. She has been in ill health for several years and her death occurred early Friday morning, Oct. 24.

She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Waline of Guernsey, a son, Fred Arnold of Denver, Colo., three grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, one daughter, three sisters and a brother.
