MURRAY KOGER

Murray Eugene Koger, 83, of Deming, N.M., the brother of Burton Koger of Grinnell, died Sunday, March 3, at a nursing home in Deming.

A memorial service was conducted Saturday at Baca's Funeral Chapels in Deming, with the Rev. W. Winn Erdman officiating. The body was cremated, and burial of the ashes was in Newburg.

Mr. Koger was born Nov. 18, 1907, in Jasper County. He was a farmer.

Surviving are his wife, Winifred; one son, Wayne of Phoenix, Ariz.; a daughter, Eileen Crawford of Deming; his brother, Burton of Grinnell; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Calvin and Jennie Koger, and a granddaughter.
