RITES HELD FOR MISS MCCOSH

Martha Spence McCosh, 73, of Grinnell died Friday morning at the Lone Elm Nursing Home where she lived for the past 26 years.

The daughter of Maxwell and Matilda Paul McCosh, she was born Jan. 26, 1899, in Hickory Grove Township, Jasper County. She had lived in Grinnell most of her life.

Miss McCosh is survived by six sisters, Mrs. Jennie Koger, Mrs. Edith Koger and Mrs. Margaret Marshall, all of Newton, Mrs. Jessie Wells of Brooklyn and Mrs. Esther Ziegenmeyer and Mrs. Louis Carter, both of Grinnell. She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mrs. Mary Wylie in 1949 and Mrs. Ruth Megaughin in 1959.

Private funeral services for Miss McCosh were held at 10 a.m. today (Monday) at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Ralph Beebe of the Mayflower Home officiating. Pallbearers were Keith Koger, Robert E. Marshall, Cecil Ringgenberg, Ricahrd Wells, Charles Ziegenmeyer, and Raymond Ziegenmeyer.

Burial was in Hazelwood Cemetery.
