Carl E. Fraker, 81, died Friday, Aug. 28, 1998, in Brookhaven Nursing Home of congestive heart failure. Services: 10:30 a.m. Monday, Grace United Methodist Church, by Dennis Smith and John Glasscock. Burial: Brooklyn Memorial Cemetery. Friends may call from 3 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Nevenhoven Funeral Home, Brooklyn, where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m.

Survivors include his wife, Eunice; two sons, Randy of Fort Madison and Dennis of Brooklyn, Iowa; three daughters, Cheryl Froelich of Brooklyn, Wis., Jane Fraker of Brooklyn, Iowa, and Carol Deedrick of Grinnell; and one brother, Gerald of Ladora.
