MRS. BRALEY WAS ACTIVE IN EWART PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH

Annetta Belle, daughter of Mary Ann and William McCormick, was born April 5, 1893, at Ewart and died June 27 at Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada.

She attended school in Pleasant township and graduated from Grinnell High School. Following graduation she taught for several years in her home township.

She and Clifford L. Braley were united in marriage Dec. 8, 1915, in the home where she was born and where she spent most of her life. To this union there were five children. She was brought up in the Ewart United Presbyterian church and was active in the church program, especially the Missionary society and Bible school. She also was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Farm Bureau.

Surviving are her husband, Clifford; four sons, Frank, Oskaloosa; Berton, Adelphi, Md.; Gordon, Ewart; Byard, Brooklyn; and a daughter, Mrs. Henry Staubus, Humboldt. Also 14 grandchildren; and other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. July 1 at the church, conducted by Reverend Beattie and Reverend Stewart. Music was by Mrs. Dean Doonan, accompanied by Mrs. Robert Doonan.

Burial was in the cemetery there under direction of the Steffy Funeral Home. Casket Bearers were Wm. Jeffrey, Ralph Reams, Paul Phillips, Kenneth Haworth, Lester Hamilton and Sheldon Copeland.
