H.J. BACON DIES IN ALGONA THIS MORNING

Relatives in Grinnell were notified today of the death of H.J. Bacon, who passed away at his home in Algona at 3:30 o'clock this morning as a result of a heart attack.

Mr. Bacon was born and grew to manhood in Chester, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joshua Bacon. He moved away some thirty years ago. He owned a farm near Burt where he lived for a long time, but some time ago he turned the farm over to his sons and moved to Algona.

Mr. Bacon married Cora Wesco who, with five children, survives him. He was a brother of A.H. Bacon, Mrs. F.M. Wesco and Mrs. Etta Sears, and a brother-in-law of Mrs. Clyde Foster. He also leaves a sister, Mrs. F.J. Cocking, of Pelican Rapids, Minn.

Funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon in Algona and burial will be made there. Mrs. Iver Harrison, a niece, and her husband and Mrs. Clyde Foster are leaving for Algona Wednesday morning and other relatives from here may attend the funeral.
