Charles Frizzell, Former Kellogg Boy, Meets Death In Service.

Kellogg, Sept. 9--1/c Radio-man U.S. Navy, Charles Frizzell, 35, was electrocuted Sunday "somewhere in the Pacific area" according to a message received here by his sister, Mrs. Cecil Jeffries, Wednesday night.

He was born southwest of Kellogg, September 6, 1908, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Frizzell. The family came to Kellogg to live upon the death of his father when he was twelve years of age. They resided here until the spring of 1928 when they moved to Waterloo, where they have since resided. He was graduated from the local high school in the class of 1927.

After going to Waterloo he became a member of the U.S.N.R. and was called into active service shortly after Pearl Harbor. Prior to entering the service he was employed at the John Deere factory there.

Surviving relatives include his widowed mother, Mrs. Mary Frizzell of Waterloo, two sisters, Mrs. Jeffries of this place and Miss Ruth Frizzell of Alhambra, Calif., and a brother 2/c Airplane Mechanic of the U.S. Navy, Walter Frizzell, also of the Pacific area.
