HARVEY FISK SERVICES HELD

Harvey F. Fisk, 73, of rural Montezuma died Friday, Sept. 23, at his home.

Funeral services were conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Watts Funeral Home in Montezuma, with the Rev. John Darlington of the United Methodist Church officiating.

Music was provided by Kathleen Ramsey, organist. Pallbearers were John Mann, Jimmy Fisk, Ron Anderson, Mark Mann, David Mann and Steve Anderson. Honorary bearers were Don Brown, Roy Fleming, William Rempp, Lauren Wright, Marvin Bunnell, Vincent Johnson, Larry Huff, Raymond McKee, Harry Bunnell, Melvin Elliott, William Henkle and Don Van Ersvelde.

Burial was at the Friends Cemetery at New Sharon. Masonic rites were also conducted.

The son of Daniel B. and Lulu Grubb Fisk, he was born April 8, 1910, at New Sharon. He attended school at New Sharon. On Feb. 11, 1933, he was married to Ethel Warren at Lancaster, Mo. After their marriage, they farmed near New Sharon and Oskaloosa before moving to the farm southeast of Montezuma in 1938.

Mr. Fisk was a member of the Montezuma United Methodist Church and Lafayette Masonic Lodge No. 52.

He is survived by his wife, Ethel; one son, James Fisk of Montezuma; two daughters, Mary Lou Mann of Malcom and Sherrill Rae Anderson of Union; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Laura Miller of New Sharon; and two brothers, Alfred of Searsboro and Theodore of New Sharon.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one grandson.
