MRS. OLIVIA JACKSON PASSES

Funeral services for Mrs. Olivia Jackson, aged 63, will be held at the home of her mother, Mrs. Amos Ford at 1215 Fourth avenue, tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock, conducted by the Rev. W.B. Wilson of Newburg and the Rev. H.S. Wilkinson. Mrs. Margery Bouma will sing "Abide with Me." Pallbearers will be L.O. Wilson, Walter Neely, Steve Smith, C.L. McNally, P.A. Madill and J.N. Hartzell. Mrs. Jackson died at a local hospital Monday morning after an extended illness.

She was born in Hickory Grove township in Jasper county February 11, 1871 and spent nearly all her life in or near Grinnell, graduating from the local high school in 1889. She married Frank Jackson December 22, 1893, and Mr. Jackson preceded her in death by several years. One daughter, Mrs. E.N. Foster of Wellman, her mother, Mrs. Ford, a sister, Mrs. John Mehlin, and a brother, Guy Ford, of Lamesport, Mo., survive her.

Mrs. Jackson was a faithful worker in the Methodist church, and was a loyal member of the Daughters of Union Veterans until her health made such activities impossible. She was widely liked and respected, and her many friends will miss her.
