ADAM N. FOGEL

Malcom, Ia., Oct. 18 Special):

Adam Nicholas Fogel, the son of George and Mary Fogel, departed this life Oct. 11, 1929, at the age of 34 years, 7 months, 1 day.

In his earlier years he received his education in the Malcom school. During the World War he served in the United States Army from April 28, 1918 to May 17, 1919. After the War he stayed with his mother in Malcom and worked in this community.

Those who have preceded him in death are his father, Mr. George Fogel and sisters, Rosa Carr and Mae Ackerson.

Those left to mourn the loss of their loved one are his mother, Mrs. Mary Fogel, and brothers and sisters, George, Bennie and Lena Fogel of Malcom, John Fogel of Des Moines and Mrs. Roy Ackerson of Waterloo, Iowa and other relatives and friends.

He was buried with military honors Monday, Oct. 14, at Ivy Hill cemetery. Rev. Mr. Peyton and Rev. Mr. Baker took charge of the services at the church and Rev. Mr. Nye, the Methodist minister from Brooklyn, took charge at the cemetery.
