CHARLES FETZER SERVICES HELD

Word has been received here that a former Grinnell resident, Charles Edward Fetzer, 47, died recently in the East.

The son of Harold and Grace Tuttle Fetzer, he was born March 29, 1926, in Brooklyn. His mother died when he was a small child, and he made his home with his grandparents, Edward and Mary Tuttle of Grinnell. He attended school here.

Mr. Fetzer served with the U.S. Navy during World war II. He lived with his sister in Providence, R.I., until his confinement in the Veterans Hospital, where he died Jan. 12.

Survivors include his father, Harold of Grinnell; his sister, Phyllis of Providence; and a son, Charles Jr. of Florida.

Military rites for Mr. Fetzer were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 15, with burial in the military cemetery at Warren, R.I.
