LON E. DAVIS SERVICES SET

Lon E. Davis, 21, of 1120 Reed St., Grinnell, died Friday of injuries sustained in a motorcycle-truck collision near Grinnell's west city limits.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Grinnell First Baptist Church, with the Rev. Robert C. Smith officiating. Burial will be at Hazelwood Cemetery.

Should friends desire, memorials may be made in Mr. Davis' name and left at the funeral home.

The son of Albert and Georgia Clingan Davis, he was born on Dec. 4, 1958, in Grinnell. He attended Grinnell schools, graduating from Grinnell High School in 1977.

He was employed at Stadiums Unlimited for five years, and for the past year he had worked at the Morris Oil Co. in Kellogg.

He is survived by his parents; two sisters, Mrs. Jim (Cindy) Haines of Grinnell and Mrs. Don (Melinda) Aeschliman of Des Moines, a brother, A. Lee Davis of Fullerton, Calif., and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bryan Davis of Grinnell.
