MARY DAVIS

Mary Lippincott Davis, 90, of St. Francis Manor died Friday, June 16, at the manor.

Funeral services were conducted Monday at the Smith Funeral Home, with the Rev. Raymond C. Lott of the Grinnell United Methodist Church officiating. Organist was Margaret Wheeler, and vocalists were Ruth Ann Dayton and Wilma Schmitz. Pallbearers were Eugene Dayton, Andy Davis, Jack Davis, Bryan Davis, Earl Davis and Glen Phipps.

Burial was in Brooklyn Cemetery.

The daughter of William and Ellen Lippincott, she was born March 9, 1899, at Cedar Bluff. She received her education in Brooklyn schools.

She was married to Ernie Beyers, and later to Bryan Davis.

Surviving ae her stepchildren, Earl Davis of Malcom, Farrell Dayton of Searsboro, Florence Reyes of Davenport and Doris Sadler of Davenport, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her two husbands; a stepson, Albert Davis; five brothers; and three sisters.
