ROSA BUSH

Funeral services for Mrs. Rosa Bush, 74, of Brooklyn, were held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 1, in the Nevenhoven Funeral Home, Brooklyn. Mrs. Bush died Tuesday morning, Oct. 30, 1984, in the Brookhaven Nursing Home, Brooklyn.

Rev. Raymond D. Moore, pastor of the Grace United Methodist Church, officiated. The organist was Mrs. Nina Bartachek and the vocalist was Mrs. Sybil Kelley. Flower attendants were Mrs. Dorothy McConnell and Mrs. Helen Willett.

Casket-bearers were Dan McConnell, Robert Wagner, Ray Gallagher, Lyle Zigler, Robert Evans and Lonnie White. Interment was in the IOOF Cemetery, Brooklyn.

A memorial fund has been established in memory of Mrs. Bush for the Poweshiek County Association for Retarded Citizens.

Rosa Hobelsberger Bush, daughter of Michael and Marie Hobelsberger, was born Nov. 1, 1909, in Bromback, Germany. She came to the United States to Brooklyn in 1948. She was united in marriage to Elwin M. Bush in March, 1948 in Brooklyn, Mrs. Bush did cleaning work including work at Crosson Rexall Drug.

Mrs. Bush is survived by her husband, Elwin Bush; two sons, Karl of Fairfax, and Elwin E. of Brooklyn; one daughter, Donna of Omaha, Neb., and two sisters in Germany.
