MRS. MATTIE TRIPLETT DIES IN FT. WORTH, TEXAS

Friends here have received word of the death of Mrs. Mattie Triplett, who passed away July 2 in Ft. Worth, Texas, where she had been residing with her granddaughter, Mrs. Ray Shimpaugh and family. Burial was at Houston, Texas at the home of her son, Bert Snodgrass. The deceased was the wife of the late H.L. Triplett, well known Grinnellian who for many years operated a planing mill here.

Very few particulars were received regarding Mrs. Triplett's death but it is assumed that she was stricken quite suddenly as she expected to return here July 1 for a visit.
