FORMER RESIDENT DIED IN CALIFORNIA

Dr. Louis Ball Triplett, who was born in Brooklyn, died April 3 in Pasadena, Cal., after a long illness.

Dr. Triplett had a national reputation as an osteopath, lecturer, inventor and author and until ill health had forced him to become inactive he had been in demand as a speaker at osteopathic gatherings.

Born in Brooklyn, Dr. Triplett was graduated from American School of Osteopathy at Kirksville, Mo. He practiced in Holyoke, Mass., for two years and moved to Springfield, Mass., where he remained 26 years. He went to Pasadena in 1928.

He was a member of the Kiwanis club in Springfield and of the Atlas club, professional organization.

His wife, Helen Abbie Triplett, a daughter, Mrs. Joseph H. Wesson of Springfield, and two brothers, Aquilla of Amarillo, Tex., and Monsieur of Brooklyn, survive him.

Funeral service was held April 7 in the chapel of the Turner and Stevens funeral home in Pasadena. Body was taken to Springfield for burial.
