LYLE FELPER DIES IN SOLDIERS' HOME

Lyle Joseph Felper died Friday morning, June 28, at the Iowa Soldier's Home in Marshalltown after a lingering illness.

The son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Tom Felper, Mr. Felper was born Nov. 9. 1906 in Osage. He farmed in the Malcom community from 1931 to 1943 and served in the Armed Services from January, 1944 to December, 1945.

Survivors include one son, Gordon Felper of Grinnell; twin daughters--Mrs. James (Maxine) Smith of Keokuk and Mrs. Ed (Margorie) Hajek of Westland, Mich.; five brothers, three sisters and six grandchildren.

Mr. Felper was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.

Memorial services were held Monday afternoon in the Iowa Soldiers Home chapel in Marshalltown.
